At Last ~ SUNSHINE!

The gray cloudy skies hanging over us during our early morning set-up gave way to SUNSHINE and it was heavenly.
The Ferris Family's Adirondack chairs were well tested.

and folks were stopping by Tomato Alley
ready to do some long- anticipated planting.

Customers at Golden Glen were saying Cheese
and some lucky dog got a new bed from UKDK-WA.

Topped off with a fabulous Farmhouse Club Sandwich,
It was a great day at the Skagit Valley Saturday Market!

Look for a GREAT article today, May 11th, in the Skagit Valley Herald---on  page 3--about us! They picked up Terry's wonderful press release & called Janet for an interview. Fantastic!! Thanks to both of you for a super job!!

The Skagit Valley Herald likes the Skagit Valley Saturday Market and not just because we have the same first name.

Thanks Terry, of REALMS Beauty Care, for taking some photos of our inaugural market. My camera shutter finger was too rain wrinkled to work right.  Look at all those great white canopies!! Highly visible from the highway and will really standout in that beautiful sunshine we're going to have eventually soon.

So if you're thinking about visiting our market- don't let a little rain stop you. We sure don't. We'll be there- singin' in the rain. :)

A Wet, Wild and Wonderful Beginning...

Wow! did we ever started the Market season with a bang...

ok- a  bit of soggy bang but it was definitely a day we won't soon forget!

A BIG thanks to the fantastic vendors who toughed out the weather to be there for the first market. It was really encouraging to see the number of customers who came out to shop- wearing boots & carrying umbrellas. We love that kind of determination.

There was no sunshine but lots of warm smiles and sunny attitudes and that's what it's all about.

See you next Saturday!
Think "Warm, Wild and Wonderful".
