At Last ~ SUNSHINE!
The gray cloudy skies hanging over us during our early morning set-up gave way to SUNSHINE and it was heavenly.
The Ferris Family's Adirondack chairs were well tested.
and folks were stopping by Tomato Alley
Customers at Golden Glen were saying Cheese
and some lucky dog got a new bed from UKDK-WA.
Topped off with a fabulous Farmhouse Club Sandwich,
It was a great day at the Skagit Valley Saturday Market!

Look for a GREAT article today, May 11th, in the Skagit Valley Herald---on page 3--about us! They picked up Terry's wonderful press release & called Janet for an interview. Fantastic!! Thanks to both of you for a super job!!

The Skagit Valley Herald likes the Skagit Valley Saturday Market and not just because we have the same first name.

So if you're thinking about visiting our market- don't let a little rain stop you. We sure don't. We'll be there- singin' in the rain. :)

A Wet, Wild and Wonderful Beginning...
Wow! did we ever started the Market season with a bang...
ok- a bit of soggy bang but it was definitely a day we won't soon forget!
A BIG thanks to the fantastic vendors who toughed out the weather to be there for the first market. It was really encouraging to see the number of customers who came out to shop- wearing boots & carrying umbrellas. We love that kind of determination.
There was no sunshine but lots of warm smiles and sunny attitudes and that's what it's all about.
See you next Saturday!
Think "Warm, Wild and Wonderful".

Who? What? Where? When?
This is the first year for the Skagit Valley Saturday Market at the Farmhouse Restaurant (a great location!) and we're all very busy getting organized, publicized and de-winterized. You'll soon be seeing our flyer (sneak preview below) in businesses throughout the county. We owe a debt of thanks to all the generous local merchants who are helping us get the word out about this great new venture. On May 7th, you'll be seeing our white canopies on the south side of the Farmhouse- ready to meet and greet you at 10 AM that day -and every Saturday through September.
* Speaking of getting the word out, notice that "May 7th Vendors" tab at the top of the this page? Every week we'll be listing the vendors who are scheduled to be at the next week's market to help you plan your shopping list. As the season progresses, we'll be adding our farmers and the produce they'll be bringing.
* On the left side of this page you'll find the home websites or Facebook pages for our full time SVS Market Members. If you need to locate or contact one of them during the week, we've made it as easy as clicking on their link. Questions? Email us at saturdaymarket@comcast.net.
* If you're a vendor- you'll find updated news on the "Info for Vendors" tab.
